"Blind" is a song by the American band Talking Heads, released in 1983 from their album Speaking in Tongues. The song was written by David Byrne and Chris Frantz and produced by Brian Eno.
The genre of the single is new wave, post-punk and art rock. The video for "Blind" was directed by Toni Basil and featured the band members: David Byrne (vocals, guitar), Tina Weymouth (bass), Jerry Harrison (keyboards) and Chris Frantz (drums). The lyrics explore themes of confusion and apathy and were inspired by the growing influence of television on society at the time.
