Chica Me Tipo Lyrics
Sublime
Lyrics
No me importa que se lleva
Porque todo se quitará
Ay, no puedo verlo
Ni en pintura
Cuando empecemos
No me dió cuenta
De que luego
Tuviera que pagar
Pero si se cambié
Me voy a acostarme con ti, con ti
No me propongo predicar
Vive y dejar vivir
Pero el amigo
Es un condon en el bolsillo
Yo no soy médico
No soy chapucero
Solamente soy pobre
Y ya estoy tan solo
Pero si se cambié
Ella sería la mía
Para ser poseído en propiedad, en propiedad
I've got to get it off for you
Whoa, what can I do?
I would lay down anytime with her, with her
Song & Lyrics Facts
Chica Me Tipo is a song by Sublime, an American ska punk band from Long Beach, California. It is the fourteenth track on their debut album 40oz.
to Freedom, which was released in 1992 by Skunk Records and Gasoline Alley. The song was produced by Sublime and Elephant Levitation. The song is Sublime's first attempt at a Spanish/English song, and it has plenty of dirty humor. It is about a girl who is either a prostitute or a gold digger, and the narrator who wants to be with her but can't afford it. He says he doesn't care what she wears or what she looks like, he just wants to sleep with her. He also says he is not a preacher or a quack, he is just poor and lonely. He hopes that she will change and become his property. The lyrics were written by Bradley Nowell, Eric Wilson and Marshall Goodman, who were also the band members of Sublime. The bassline of the song seems to be inspired by "The Villain's Theme", commonly heard as a background to scary scenes in old silent movies. The song also has an earlier version called "Chick On My Tip", which is entirely in English and can be found on the album Second-Hand Smoke. The main messages in the lyrics are about lust, poverty, hypocrisy and irony.
