Snap! is a popular eurodance group from Germany, formed in 1989 by producers Michael Münzing and Luca Anzilotti.
Their debut album World Power was released in 1990, featuring the hit singles "The Power" and "Ooops Up". The songwriters for these tracks were Benito Benites and John "Virgo" Garrett III. Snap! featured several vocalists over the years including rapper Turbo B., Penny Ford, Niki Haris and Summer. The band members included Münzing on keyboards and programming, Anzilotti on drums and percussion, as well as additional musicians such as Sven Väth and Jürgen Dohr. The lyrics of their songs often dealt with themes of empowerment and self-expression. Snap!'s most successful single was "Rhythm Is A Dancer", which topped the charts in various countries and has become an iconic dance anthem.
