Somewhere Only We Know is a popular song by British recording artist Lily Allen. The track was released in June 2013 as the lead single from her third studio album, Sheezus.
Written by Allen and Greg Kurstin, it samples Keane's 2004 hit of the same name. It features production from Kurstin and additional instrumentation from Mike Spencer. The lyrics of Somewhere Only We Know are about being content with someone despite their flaws and imperfections. The chorus includes the lines: "We've been walking in circles again/It's so hard to find our way back home". The single peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart and has since become one of Allen's most successful singles. It also charted in Australia, Belgium, Ireland, New Zealand and Scotland. On 12 May 2014, the song was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry for sales of over 400,000 copies.
