Ken Ashcorp is an alternative rock band from London, UK. The group consists of lead vocalist and songwriter Ken Ashcorp, guitarists Davey Smithson and Mark Huxley, bassist Nick Jones and drummer Paul Shepherd.
They released their debut album "Rival" on August 12th, 2008. The album features a mix of different genres such as indie-rock, power pop, punk and synthpop. It was produced by the legendary producer Tom Rothrock (Beck, Foo Fighters). The lead single off the album was the title track “Rival”, which has become one of the most popular songs in the band's discography.
