"Itchy Worms - Beer Song" is a folk-rock song by Irish Celtic rock band The Itchyworms. It was released as the lead single from their third studio album, Noontime Show, in 2006.
Written and composed by vocalist/guitarist Jugs Jugueta and bassist Chino Singson, "Itchy Worms - Beer Song" is an upbeat, foot-stomping anthem that celebrates the joy of drinking beer with friends. The lyrics were written by Jugueta and Singson, while the music was arranged and produced by keyboardist Jazz Nicolas. The Itchyworms are a four-piece band consisting of Jugueta (vocals, guitar), Singson (bass), Nicolas (keyboard) and drummer Kelvin Yu. Since forming in 2002, they have become one of the most successful bands to emerge out of the Philippine indie scene. Their songs often feature witty lyrics and catchy melodies. With its singalong chorus and memorable lyrics, "Itchy Worms - Beer Song" has become a fan favorite, and continues to be a staple at the band's live shows.
