Dream Evil is a Swedish heavy metal band formed in 1999 by guitarist Fredrik Nordström and vocalist Niklas Isfeldt. Their debut album, Dragonslayer, was released on April 22, 2002.
The album featured nine tracks of classic power metal with dark lyrics written by Isfeldt and Nordström. It was praised for its strong production values and songwriting. The album features the single “Chasing the Dragon” which was one of Dream Evil's most popular songs. The track was written by Isfeldt and Nordström and performed by guitarists Gus G., Peter Stålfors and drummer Snowy Shaw.
