Deftones' song "Entombed" is a single from their fifth studio album, Saturday Night Wrist, released in 2006. The alternative metal group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Chino Moreno, drummer Abe Cunningham, keyboardist Frank Delgado, bassist Chi Cheng and guitarist Stephen Carpenter.
Written by the band members themselves, the lyrics reflect on being entrapped within oneself and feeling isolated as a result. The song was well-received upon its release, with critics citing it as one of the best tracks on the album for its emotionally charged instrumentals and passionate vocals. It was also featured in the video game FlatOut 2. Apart from that, "Entombed" has been performed live on numerous occasions, including during the Deftones' set at the Download Festival in 2007.
