Blue System was a German Eurodance pop group formed in 1987 and fronted by Dieter Bohlen. The band released their debut album, "Walking on a Rainbow", in 1989.
It included the hit single, "Vampire". Composed and produced by Dieter Bohlen, it featured lyrics written by him and Lucy Jordan. The song peaked at number 5 in Germany and was also successful in other European countries. The band's second album, "Body Heat", was released in 1990. It contained the single, "Vampire", which was one of the most successful songs from Blue System. With its darkly romantic music and lyrics, it soon became a favorite among fans. The band members of Blue System were Dieter Bohlen (vocals), Detlef Wiedeke (keyboards) and Rolf Köhler (guitar).
